ILM University uses Google OAuth authentication to allow authorized administrators to connect their Google account with the YouTube Data API for uploading educational course videos to the official ILM University YouTube channel.
We request only the permissions necessary to provide the YouTube video upload functionality. The youtube.upload permission is used only when an authorized administrator initiates a video upload through the ILM University administration panel.
Google Data Retention: Google OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens may be securely stored on our server to maintain the authorized connection and provide the YouTube upload functionality without requiring repeated authorization. These credentials are retained only for as long as necessary to provide the requested service or while the authorization remains active.
Google Data Deletion: Authorized administrators may request deletion of their stored Google OAuth credentials and associated YouTube authorization data by contacting ILM University at ilmuniversitytamil@gmail.com . Upon receiving a valid request, we will delete the stored OAuth tokens from our systems, subject to applicable legal, security, or other legitimate requirements that may require limited retention.
Users may also revoke the application's access through their Google Account settings. Once Google authorization is revoked, ILM University will no longer use the revoked OAuth credentials to access the associated YouTube account.
